The Home to Modern Art, designed by Mick Space Interior Design, is a residential apartment that showcases the perfect harmony between art and living space. Inspired by the beauty of nature and the elegance of contemporary art, this design creates a unique and sophisticated atmosphere.

The standout feature of this design is the use of three standing jewelry boxes as screens in the foyer. These cabinets not only serve a functional purpose but also add a touch of artistic flair to the space. The entire apartment is connected by horizontal lines of stone material, creating a seamless flow throughout. These lines and colors correspond to the arrangement of contemporary art pieces, allowing different artworks to communicate with each other through the natural flow of spatial lines.

The Home to Modern Art is a testament to the meticulous attention to detail and careful selection of materials. Imported veneer patterns, metal, glass, stone, and leather are chosen to create a sophisticated and luxurious ambiance. The combination of veneer and leather adds a natural mellowness, while the stone walls and flooring exude a majestic spatial ambiance. The use of cold metal and glass elements adds a modern touch, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship.

One of the highlights of this design is the master bedroom, where a specially designed light wall separates the space and adds a geometric element. This not only enhances the functionality of the room but also brightens up the space with its unique lines. The lighting throughout the apartment is carefully chosen to enhance the overall atmosphere, with scattered fine lighting leading to the bedroom and extending the artistic vision to the corridor.

The Home to Modern Art is a 330 square meter apartment located in Taichung City, Taiwan. The project was completed on November 1, 2019. From the initial planning phase, the design team took into consideration the artworks and colors suitable for each area, aiming to combine interior design with private artwork collections as a part of everyday life.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. The award acknowledges the outstanding creativity and ingenuity of the design, which seamlessly integrates art, science, design, and technology. The Home to Modern Art not only showcases strong technical and creative skills but also contributes to improving the quality of life, making the world a better place.
